It was a visually stunning piece of work. It depicted the ancestors of the people of San Antonio in the 1800s. "The centerpiece is The Great Tree of San Antonio, which symbolizes the roots of the city. The people of San Antonio are all descendants of the original inhabitants of the land before the arrival of the Spanish. The concept was derived from old petroglyphs that were discovered in the region. The tree is composed of actual acorns that were found at the time of construction. The story of the tree is based on the legend of a man called "El Primo," a chieftain of the San Antonio people.
